Rob Phillips - Chief Executive Officer
Rob has fifteen years of previous experience in finance and accounting for national and regional companies; including two positions as Chief Financial Officer for large New England based corporations. In addition, Rob has ten years of experience in Sales and Marketing including five years as Major Accounts Manager for an industry-leading California-based company. Rob has also served as Chief Operating Officer of a successful New England-based start-up. Rob is a graduate of nearby Bentley College, Magna Cum Laude.
Matthew Crockett - Chief Technology Officer
Matthew Crockett has over ten years of professional experience in the IT and related fields. He has spent the last seven years in the study, creation, configuration and management of complex Internet infrastructures. Prior to NEDS, Mr. Crockett worked as a tier-4 engineer for Verio Incorporated. In this role, he oversaw the migration and integration of acquired collocation, dedicated circuit and manages services customers. Matthew was also instrumental in the building of Verio's datacenter in Boston, Massachusetts in 2000. The company was later purchased in a $5.6 Billion buyout by NTT America. Mr. Crockett has been working with the Internet since the mid 1980's and continues to bring forth the latest technologies that support the Internet and managed services communities.
Christopher Souza – Director of Sales & Marketing Christopher brings New England Data Services more than 15 years of sales and management experience in the technology industry. With extensive market penetration, Christopher provides strategic direction for the sales and marketing operations driving revenue growth and market penetration. His responsibilities consist of developing a high performing sales force through new sales, channel partners and emerging technologies. Over the years, Christopher has significantly grown and positioned New England Data Services as a highly respected data center and hosting provider to the SMB's.
Prior to New England Data Services, Christopher was a sales manager at Industrial Communications and Electronics and was responsible for building and managing a team of sales representatives that led to the sale of the companies 800MHz Two-way Radio Frequencies to NEXTEL Communications for $164 million. Under his leadership, sales grew from $4M to over $20M.
Christopher has earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and his MBA in E-Business from the University of Phoenix.
